Chine collé is a printmaking technique in which thin, often coloured, papers are bonded to the printmaking paper when the print is taken. Chine collé allows the printmaker to add areas of colour or pattern to a print. Use with linocuts or drypoints - bring existing plates or make new ones during the session.

These classes are social, relaxed sessions aimed at all abilities. We will learn a wide variety of techniques from relief printing, screen printing, intaglio printing, dyeing and batik. Most sessions are single mornings but occasionally the technique will require two sessions so this will require both to be booked - the choice is yours!
Inks and some papers are provided. Suitable for all - experienced or not.
