This is all about exploring colour in linoprinting – we will be using blends & rainbow rolls, spot colour, masks, creating easy background layers, and a nifty cutting and sticking technique, plus tips on basic registration.
Bring your own ready-made plates to work with – the emphasis is on experimenting with inking – we won’t be cutting new plates.
A perfect opportunity to try out new techniques or refresh your skills.
This class will be taught by Karen Carter, a visiting tutor.
These classes are social, relaxed sessions aimed at all abilities. We will learn a wide variety of techniques from relief printing, screen printing, intaglio printing, dyeing and batik. Most sessions are single mornings but occasionally the technique will require two sessions so this will require both to be booked - the choice is yours!
Inks and some papers are provided. Suitable for all - experienced or not.
