Linoprinting is a great technique to do at home…..easy to learn, minimum equipment and a whole host of variations once you’ve got the basics. We will cover: cutting tools, inks, papers & lino - and produce simple plates looking at elements of design, different cutting techniques and inking & printing in black & white.
Perfect for printing cards, wall art, fabric etc. whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to expand your skills.
This class will be taught by Karen Carter, a visiting tutor.
These classes are social, relaxed sessions aimed at all abilities. We will learn a wide variety of techniques from relief printing, screen printing, intaglio printing, dyeing and batik. Most sessions are single mornings but occasionally the technique will require two sessions so this will require both to be booked - the choice is yours!
Inks and some papers are provided. Suitable for all - experienced or not.
