Monday 9th + Tuesday 10th November 2020
Over this two day course you can learn the process of reduction linocut printing under the guidance of a knowledgeable and sympathetic tutor. The course will look at techniques, materials and tools as well as turning the seemingly complicated process of producing your own three or four colour reduction print into manageable steps. The tutor, Ian Phillips, has been working in Lino for over twenty years and has a lot of experience in coaxing a wonderful print from everyone on his courses.
To take a look at more of Ian's work visit his website. Read all about Ian's work and process in our Meet the Maker Blog Post! See pictures from Ian's last workshop here.
All you have to bring are any pictures you find inspiring, a small image you would like to try producing as a linocut (About 16 cm x 23 cm) and some enthusiasm. All materials and tools will be provided.
