The Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Etching Set of 6 is designed for versatile colour printing. The three process colours can be mixed to create a spectrum of bright colours. You will find you can make a much wider range of greens, purples, blues, reds, and oranges than with standard blue, red, and yellow inks. The white, black, and extender can be added to create an even wider range of tints and shades.
For printmakers interested in non-toxic printmaking, Caligo offers an innovative range of oil-based inks that can be washed away with liquid soap and water, without the need for harmful, often more expensive solvents. Caligo Safe Wash Etching Inks are suitable for all types of intaglio printing, including etching, aquatint, line engraving, etc.
The set contains 6 x 75ml tubes in Process Red (Magenta), Process Yellow, Process Blue (Cyan), Carbon Black, Opaque White and Extender.
