MiScreen

This is a fantastic machine that can create digital screens. It is a compact machine that ‘burns’ a screen straight from your computer (Mac or PC) without the need for photo emulsion or an exposure unit. It is a fantastic upgrade from a Thermofax screen and can ‘burn’ fine lines as well as solid areas onto the screen mesh. It takes under a minute to run a screen through the machine.

The kit contains:

MiScreen machine (you will need to purchase a power cord for an AC adapter (C13) and a USB 2.0 cable with a standard type A and type B connector)

Software disc

Starter Kit containing the following:

1 x full-size frame

1 x double-sided tape

1 x squeegee

1 x print base which has two registration pins for perfect registration with the screen which enables you to print a registered image with ease.

5 x full sheets of Riso Mesh to create the screens 

You can use images in PDF, BMP, JPEG and PNG formats.

The software is very user friendly and you can manipulate the image easily within the programme, so you can reduce the size, rotate and lighten or darken the image. The screens can be used on paper and on textiles with water-based inks. You can preview the MiScreen User Leaflet here.

We can also supply extra mesh on a roll or in packs of 5 or 20 sheets and frames in both ½ and full size, please email for details. We also stock different sizes of thermofax squeegees for use with these screens.

The lead time on this machine is approximately 2 weeks. The MiScreen is currently only available for UK and Ireland customers.
