Fab Friday - Intaglio Printmaking Out of the Box - 24th January 2025

10am - 1pm

Using small boxes (medicine, stock cubes, tetra paks or similar) we will make collagraph plates that can be inked up and printed intaglio through the etching press. Experiment with mark-making, cutting and peeling back to create your design. Use the shape of the plates to inform the design of your print. 

Please bring a selection of small packaging boxes made from thin cardboard.

These classes are social, relaxed sessions aimed at all abilities. We will learn a wide variety of techniques from relief printing, screen printing, intaglio printing, dyeing and batik. Most sessions are single mornings but occasionally the technique will require two sessions so this will require both to be booked - the choice is yours!

Inks and some papers are provided. Suitable for all - experienced or not.
