This booking is for both sessions
10am - 1pm
Make intaglio plates by collaging various natural and found materials onto a mountboard base. Print from your plates using the intaglio method through a press. During the first session we will make cardcut collagraphs which can be printed from straight away, and also make glued collagraph plates which will be varnished when dry. During the second session we will print from our varnished plates.
These classes are social, relaxed sessions aimed at all abilities. We will learn a wide variety of techniques from relief printing, screen printing, intaglio printing, dyeing and batik. Most sessions are single mornings but occasionally the technique will require two sessions so this will require both to be booked - the choice is yours!
Inks and some papers are provided. Suitable for all - experienced or not.
