Learn to use linocut tools to carve a design and print it in a single colour onto paper. Learn how design an image suitable for linocut, which tool to use for which kind of mark, how to ink perfectly and print both by hand and using a press. This workshop is perfect for beginners or those wishing to brush up on some skills. Go home with a small edition of linocuts on paper and your carved block to use again!
All materials and equipment provided.
Do you need more time to finish your print? The studio is usually available after the workshop has finished for open access studio time – pay £5 per hour to stay and work independently. Just pay on the day for studio time and any extra materials used. To book, email shop@handprinted.co.uk, or just let us know during the class if you'd like to stay on.
