Jackson's Polished Copper Etching Plate, made with 0.9mm polished copper plate for etching.
The polished surface is protected with a plastic film so simply requires degreasing before applying ground. The back of the plate will require the application of an acid resistant stop out. Copper is a harder metal than zinc and plates will withstand more printing. It is also ideally suited to non-etching intaglio techniques such as drypoint and engraving and mezzotint.
