Reduction Linocut – 10th March 2027

Learn to create a layered linocut using the reduction method. This method uses one block of lino to create each layer of colour in your image. With each layer, more lino is removed from the block, and each colour is printed over the last. We will learn to design a print suitable for this method, how to transfer, carve and print from your block. Use registration pins and tabs to create aligned prints every time. Print a small edition of your print on paper to take home. 

Suitable for beginners or those with experience. These one day workshops are designed to enable us to take a deeper dive into the technique, allowing beginners to get to grips with new skills, improvers to focus on a project from beginning to end without rushing and everyone to enjoy a fun, creative day without distraction.

All materials and equipment provided. 

All of our workshops take place in our studio at 22 Arun Business Park, Shripney Road, Bognor Regis, PO22 9SX.
