Screen Printing with Gemma Berenguer - 5 day course - Mon 28th July - Fri 1st August 2025

A deep dive into the world of Screen Printing. You will start by being introduced to Screen Printing including some history and contextual usage.

The ulitimate aim is for you to devise and produce a limited silkscreen edition on paper based on your own design. We will investigate different techniques for the creation of positive/files to achieve different finishes, mainly focused on manual and artisan work (without the use of computers if possible). We will also work on colour theory and its applications in screen printing, such as transparencies, gradients, colour saturation, etc.

Together, we will follow the whole process of screen printing, learn how to assemble our set up / work table and, of course, we will dive deep into the printing technique. All this in an organic way while we talk, share doubts and, above all, enjoy the process.
